The Best Drama film
I know this is really cliche; it’s even imdb’s favourite drama film, but I loved this one so much. Based on a novel by Stephen King, which happens to be one of my favourite writers, it took the whole novel-adaptation thing to a new level. An emotional story about a man called Andy who is wrongfully convicted for the murder of his wife and her lover and who still holds his head up high through everything. Also featuring Morgan Freeman in an amazing role, this film can be summed up by the subtitle of the novel – “Hope springs eternal”.
